The Municipality of Ancient Olympia celebrates the International Day
Peace, established by the UN and celebrated around the world on the 21st, September.
The aim of the event is to promote the universal human ideals of reconciliation of all nations and peoples of the earth, while will be a special mention in Cyprus with the representation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Kyriakos Kenevezou.
Among others the school students of Ancient Olympia will make the peace sign at the Stadium, holding the flags of all the countries
of the UN.
There will be speeches by the Mayor and other prominent citizens, as well as by the students.
There will be also a related painting exhibition at the Town Hall created by the pupils.
