European Music Day 2019 – Day 2

On Saturday, June 22, in the context of the celebrations for the World Olympic Day, a musical event will be held at the Old Town Hall with a “rempetiko” folk program by Diminuita rempetika.
The 21st of June is the longest day of the year, and over the past 20 years, the summer solstice have brought together thousands of amateur, grass root talents and renowned artists with thousand of people all over the country.
In collaboration with public and private sector, the European Music Day 2019 will take place in over 48 cities and regions of Greece presenting more than 380 events, workshops and concerts with more than 300 bands, 40 ensembles, philharmonic and symphonic orchestras, 35 choirs and 65 DJs in more than 270 venues across Greece.
